K. James Construction, Custom home builder: We are a family run home builder averaging two to five homes per year. Since our beginning in 1981, we have built over 100 custom homes plus many renovations and additions. Our goal has always been to build with energy efficiency in mind to meet the particular needs of our climate. In Recent years we have built on average 50% of the homes using ICF (insulated concrete form) systems using Quadlock ICF. Moving with the green movement, we have build Energy Star qualified homes and began building LEED qualified homes. On the forefront of efficiency, the Net Zero home is a self reliant home using as much energy as it can produce in a year (net energy) is one of our most recent undertakings.
